Dr. Lyberopoulos is an internist specializing in lipid metabolism disorders and diabetes mellitus. He serves as a Professor of Internal Medicine and Metabolic Diseases at the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens—First Department of Internal Medicine, at the “Laiko” General Hospital. He has published 270 articles in international journals, has delivered numerous lectures, and his work has been recognized with a significant number of citations and awards. He is President of the Hellenic Society of Atherosclerosis.
