Charalambos Milionis is a physician and endocrinologist. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and the National School of Public Health. He pursued and completed his doctoral studies at Lancaster University in the United Kingdom. He has worked as a clinician as well as a physician specializing in social medicine and public health. His research focuses on issues of social inequalities in health care, bioethics, diabetes, and metabolism. He works at the “Elena Venizelos” General Hospital in Athens, Greece.
