Dr. Sawka is a Clinician Scientist at University Health Network and Professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She holds a PhD in Health Research Methodology/Biostatistics and Epidemiology from McMaster University. Her research focus is primarily in thyroid cancer. Dr. Sawka’s research is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Canadian Cancer Society, and the University Health Network. She is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Thyroid.
