ΑΙΚΑΤΕΡΙΝΗ ΣΑΛΤΙΚΗ

Η ενδοκρινολόγος Κατερίνα Σαλτίκη, MD, PhD, (πτυχιούχος Ιατρικής Σχολής, Φαρμακευτικής Σχολής και διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής Αθηνών, ΕΚΠΑ) έχει διατελέσει Υπεύθυνη Κλινικού και Επιστημονικού έργου στο Ιατρείο Νεοπλασιών Θυρεοειδούς στην Θεραπευτική Κλινική ΕΚΠΑ. Εξακολουθεί να είναι  Ειδικός Επιστημονικός Συνεργάτης  στην Θεραπευτική Κλινική (για Νεοπλασίες Θυρεοειδούς και σχετιζόμενων γενετικών συνδρόμων) και στην Μονάδα Κλινικής & Μεταφραστικής Έρευνας στην Ενδοκρινολογία, ΕΚΠΑ».

Εχει πλούσιο διδακτικό έργο που αφορά κυρίως τις νεοπλασίες Θυρεοειδούς σε προπτυχιακούς και μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές, σε ειδικευόμενους αλλά και ειδικευμένους ενδοκρινολόγους (που έχουν εκπαιδευτεί στο Ιατρείο Νεοπλασιών στην Θεραπευτική Κλινική). Εχει επίσης σημαντικό ερευνητικό έργο. Είναι συγγραφέας άνω των 45 κεφαλαίων σε ιατρικά βιβλία, άνω των 45 δημοσιεύσεων σε διεθνή ιατρικά περιοδικά με υψηλό συντελεστή απήχησης και άνω των 180 ιατρικών ανακοινώσεων σε διεθνή και πανελλήνια συνέδρια. Έχει λάβει περισσότερες των δέκα πανευρωπαϊκές και πανελλήνιες βραβεύσεις για το επιστημονικό της έργο.  Διατελεί μέλος της ESE (European Society of Endocrinology), ETA (European Thyroid Association), HES (Ελληνική Ενδοκρινική Εταιρεία). e-mail: saze@otenet.gr
